JOYSOL Sash Windows Specialists Bristol

JoySol Sash Windows Specialists Bristol is a family-run business that was founded in 1994 and has been operating for over 25 years. The founder's father started working with wood in 1987 in Greece. The founder integrated his two sons into the business, and the two brothers worked on sash window replacement and repair services in London, including projects on listed buildings.

The company serves areas including Redland, Clifton, Ashley Down, St. Andrews, Henleaze, Bishopston, Montpelier, Bedminster, and Filton. It provides sash window repair, double glazing, draught proofing, frame repairs, sill repairs and replacements, sash cord replacement, and hardware installation. The company offers a 15-year paintwork guarantee, a 20-year guarantee on repaired parts, a 10-year guarantee on double glazing, and a 3-year guarantee on draught proofing.

Sash window refurbishment across Bristol is where JOYSOL Sash Windows Specialists has built its reputation, with restored frames that open smoothly and rooms that feel warmer afterwards. Skilled craftsmanship is the theme that comes up most: George, Jani, Yiannis and Gjergj are named individually for diligent, careful work, while Ornela, who coordinates the schedule, is credited with prompt and helpful replies throughout a job. The work described ranges from refurbishing bay and casement windows and replacing internal and external cills to fitting new sash windows, installing double glazing across a flat and restoring a garden double door.

Punctuality and tidiness are mentioned regularly, with teams arriving as agreed, working steadily and leaving sites clean, including the removal of rotten sills and repainting of surrounds. Fair, logical quotations that hold to the final price are another recurring point, as is clear communication when questions arise on site. One delayed glass delivery, a matter outside the firm's control, was handled with transparency and the job still finished to a high standard. Several customers state they would use the company again or pass its details to others.
