Gavin & Wright Windows and Doors Ltd

Gavin & Wright Windows and Doors Ltd is a family-run window and door installation company founded in 1991. The company is a member of Independent Network and has been a regional finalist in the Independent Network Installers of the Year for the last three consecutive years. It is also a Which? Trusted Trader. All installations come with a full 10-year warranty, underwritten by a major insurance company, and deposit protection is offered on all installations.

The company uses its own fitting teams, vetted and approved by Independent Network, and does not use subcontractors; fitters carry photographic ID. It uses the Independent Network German VEKA Profile. Over 7000 domestic homes in Glasgow and surrounding areas have had products installed by the company. Its main services are installing replacement double and triple glazed UPVC windows, UPVC doors, composite doors, French and patio doors.

Windows and doors, including a new front door, are the services customers describe most, and the standard of the finished work is the theme running through the feedback. Customers in several reviews describe beautifully fitted windows, singling out a neat finish and a wooden internal window-sill as evidence of care. Punctuality and reliability recur: fitters are said to arrive when expected and complete installations swiftly, frequently within two days, while keeping disruption to a minimum. Tidiness is a point that comes up often, with one flat described as spotless once the team had finished and cleared away.

Joe is named for measuring, advising on which windows would suit and coordinating the job, and his knowledge and relaxed, unhurried manner are valued. Eddie and Willie are mentioned for friendly, hard-working fitting, and the fitters made sure the household was satisfied before leaving. Reviews time and again mention reasonable pricing, and some have returned for further work across many years, a sign of lasting trust. The windows are credited with keeping the house warm, and delight with both service and workmanship runs throughout the accounts.
