Buy Your Own Doors

Buy Your Own Doors is a specialist supplier and installer of composite doors, operating in the home improvement market. The company trades under the name Door Designer, part of The Brunstane Group. Its installers are time-served and highly experienced. All installations come with a ten-year guarantee. The company offers a free survey, a free adjustment service, and an online Door Designer tool.

Householders replacing front doors and ordering bifold or Palladio models make up most of the projects described in feedback for this Edinburgh company. Something that features in review after review is the quality of the finished installation, with reviewers describing workmanship as brilliant and fittings carried out to a high standard. Several customers mention that staff were friendly and knowledgeable from the first meeting, and that advice on choosing door styles and bespoke glass was offered without pressure. Communication before and after the job is repeatedly praised, covering pricing, measuring and updates through to fitting.

Named team members including Tony, Stevie, Derek and the wider crew are thanked individually for their care, punctuality and professionalism, while the two installers on one job are described as friendly and efficient. When a small cosmetic issue with a door handle arose, it was put right quickly. Reviewers also note that orders arrived within the timescales advertised and that quotes compared well with others they had received. Tidiness and a personal, hands-on approach from the whole team feature across the accounts, alongside a willingness to recommend the firm to family and friends.
