We had delayed replacing our Soffits and Facias as it is a considerable investment and something we had to consider carefully as we have just retired. Having said that, the existing soffits and facias being 30+ years old are beyond repair so we decide to go for it. We had 2 quotation visits which were not very informative and did not inspire me with confidence. We were then visited by Lee from St Neots Windows. He started by advising me that they had completed the same work on many similar houses in our area. This immediately put me at ease. Lee went on to explain the process involved from start to finish. Lee made additional cosmetic suggestions which we had not consided but really added to the overall affect. A detailed quotation was provided the following day as promised. As the quotation was competitive we were happy to proceed. The job was started on time and completed in 4 1/2 days. We are extremely happy with the finished results. Very happy with the fitters. We kept them well fed and watered which may have helped! I would have no hesitation in recommending St Neots Windows.

I recently had new windows and doors fitted by St Neots Windows. It proved to be an easy process from booking appointments to the final instillation. Good communication and very helpful. It was a benefit to be able to go into the showroom to see the products. Choosing the style and type was made easy and everything was explained. The staff were all helpful and professional. We needed to replace a rotten wood patio door. St Neots came and quoted without any fuss, quickly and no “hard sell”. The price was about half of Anglian Windows. Installation was delayed by bad weather and then Christmas, but they turned up dead on the agreed time and completed the job in a couple of hours. We are very happy with the new door.

Fitters are messy. Poor quality control (no follow on check after fitters have done), then on top customer service is poor if something is wrong. They got the trim wrong on the 4 windows we ordered so they don't match existing even after visiting our house three times surrounded by the correct trim they previously provided. They ended up providing an approx 15% reduction in price which we pushed for, but would have preferred the correct matching frames. This was blamed on us signing the contract we felt they should have correctly filled out. Prices are average, I'd recommend going elsewhere you will get a better fitting and service.

St Neots Windows were recommended by a neighbour for, initially, replacing double glazing that had moisture between the panes. While they were quoting on the windows, I asked for a quote to replace my front door. From quote to installation, the window pane replacement was excellent. The front door quote was very reasonable, so I visited the showroom to look at any options and then went ahead. Again, everything from quote to installation was excellent. The door is 70mm thick with an overlap & secondary seal on the frame, it shuts with a thunk and has a very slick internal mechanism. I am looking forward to less draughts during the winter. Lock quality is very high. All in all, St Neots Windows are excellent people who provide an excellent service with high quality, VFM products.
