Sash and Tide

Sash & Tide is a window and door installation company based in Brighton with 11 years of experience. The company specialises in bespoke timber windows and doors, including sash window restoration. It designs and installs bespoke sash windows, and restores original sash windows by repairing timber decay and replacing worn sash cords. It also offers professional draught-proofing for sash windows and a free, no-obligation consultation.

Brighton residents seeking specialist carpentry and joinery frequently choose Sash and Tide, and the accounts consistently centre on Hussein, whose name recurs across the feedback. A handful of customers describe sash window restoration and replacement, including a project involving six sash windows across two bays at a house, and another concerning badly damaged, leaking doors at a mansion property. Reviewers frequently point to the standard of workmanship, with windows made weatherproof and timber doors repaired rather than replaced.

Something that features in review after review is Hussein's professionalism and depth of knowledge, alongside his respectful manner and careful attention to detail. Tidiness is noted too, with one account describing him as a clean worker who leaves the site in good order. Customers highlight his skill across all aspects of carpentry, particularly traditional timber windows, and his fair pricing is mentioned as part of the overall value. The tone of the feedback is consistently positive, with clients returning to him over several years for further work. The recurring theme is reliable, knowledgeable joinery that solves problems properly, with Hussein named as the reason customers keep coming back.
