Global Windows

I have been so impressed with Global Windows, the Customer Services exemplary. Very competitive quote I’m so pleased I could afford my shiny new windows! From start to finish absolutely brilliant. And expert fitting team Lee and Morgan were absolutely brilliant. I couldn’t be More happy. Five stars.

Having previously bought (direct from the manufacturer) a uPVC sliding sash window and fitted it myself, (five years ago) I was very impressed with the quality of these Kwikslide units. I wanted to replace the original 120 year old bay window and two others, whilst retaining the original Edwardian features, but I was aware that replacing the bay was beyond my capabilities. Kwikslide put me in touch with Global Windows, Trevor came and measured up, showed me before and after photos of a similar installation to ours, and produced a quote with which I was happy. This was in October 2024 and due to outside circumstances, we had to postpone the project until May this year. There was no nagging or 'special offers' in the interim - Trevor returned, confirmed the original price still applied and quoted a 6 week schedule. A very thorough surveyer (whose name I didn't get) came and took all the fine details. Six weeks later Andy (tea, white, no sugar), Lee (are you happy with that?) and Morgan arrived and adjusted their preferred order of work to accommodate my bedbound wife's daily routine. The ancient rotten bay was carefully removed, and like most old properties nothing was plumb or square - Andy took great pains (panes?) with the positioning and alignment of the 3 units to make sure it was the absolute best it could be, a true perfectionist. God is always in the details and the care taken with the finishing seals and trims was exceptional. The other two windows produced their own challenges which were all carefully handled. All the way through they patiently put up with the demands/questions/suggestions of a very particular customer (me) and made sure I was happy with what they were doing. They meticulously cleaned up (thanks Morgan) as they worked and took great care in the making good of the original cills, reveals and architrave. Overall I am delighted with the results and will happily recommend Global Windows - indeed my daughter and her husband have just ordered new windows having seen the quality of ours. I had two bays windows replaced but the downstairs window had not been fitted correctly. I know things can go wrong and mistakes can be made, so to me it’s the after sales that’s important. Global quickly inspected when I reported I wasn’t happy. They agreed the fitting wasn’t up to their usual standard and promised to correct. In just over a week they returned and refitted the whole bay to Which I’m very pleased with. I would gladly recommend Global and would use them again as there was no hesitation or problem correcting the faults

Another fantastic job by the Global Windows Team. Had some more single windows done for our house. When there was a mistake in communication that the surround of the windows was to be plastic when we wanted to keep the original wooden surround to match in keeping with the house, the response and resolution of the issue was fantastic. Not only did they replace the wooden surround but it looked like they hadn’t even taken it off by the end of the job. Communication was excellent throughout the entire process. We received regular updates, clear confirmations of the fitting date, and thorough explanations of how they would resolve the issue with no additional costs. I felt listened too, valued and understood as a customer. On the day, the fitters were outstanding. Would definitely recommend and use again.

We recently used Global for replacement windows after visiting their showroom. We are very pleased with the quality and look of the new windows and also the service given - from a very competitive quotation through to installation and after service. The excellent fitters Andy and Lee are a credit to the company arriving on time and worked quickly and efficiently to fit 9 replacement windows, including 2 bays, over 3 days. They left both the interior and exterior of our house clean and tidy every day. Many thanks to all at Global. We definitely have no hesitation in recommending them. Excellent reputation well deserved.

We have had a window replaced with sliding doors and work on our conservatory including altering the brick base, adding French doors and a solid tiled roof. From the start, we were impressed with the knowledge and professionalism of both Paul who initially came to our home and the staff in the showroom. Joe, the project manager kept us up to date with the project and dealt with any issues promptly. Every trade (windows, electrician, builder and plasterer) were all lovely to deal with and always turned up on time. We would definitely recommend Global to other people - they were recommended to us by our neighbours and we can see why! Thank you to everyone at Global, we are really pleased with our conservatory and sliding doors!

First Class job done by this company. From start to finish these guys have been fantastic. We had our door done a few years ago with Trevor who designed us the perfect door . We went back to Global for the windows was lucky again to get Trevor who designed us the perfect windows. Just been fitted they look incredible really transformed our property.The fitters where amazing cleaning up after them selves.
