Conservatory Roof Solutions

An initial review of this company I would say would be 5* star and the builders were great but I have not received any of the final paperwork associated with my new roof installation which was completed a year ago. I’ve had no receipt of payment, guarantee or building regulations. I have chased for 8 months now and cannot get anyone to return my calls or emails. I’ve contacted customer services, Sales team and the project manager multiple time but nothing! Phone line is now cutting off and emails bouncing back. Very disappointed as we have no paperwork for our build as if we decide to sell this will be a problem. The company were very quick to take my money but have had no contact following payment. I’ve just heard back from the building regulator and they have not had confirmation that the job has been completed so cannot complete the building regulations. Frustrating and such awful aftercare service. Avoid using them. I’m seeing similar reviews from others. I’d recommend not using this company.

Firstly, I should say that the team responsible for the installation of our new roof were hugely impressive and thoroughly professional throughout. We are satisfied that the installation was delivered as per the technical specification. If I could provide a separate rating for the installers and would rate them with 5 Stars. However, I am extremely disappointed with the overall customer experience and lack of professionalism shown by the business as a whole. We are still waiting for the building inspection certificate, which was included in the proposal and the contract that we signed up to. Despite numerous attempts to contact representatives from the company ( including the MD) I have received no response to my query regarding the Building certificate. 6 months of constantly trying to contact someone from the company has become exasperating! Note , the contact number and address provided on the website ( in Wood Green, Harringay), is a business accommodation address. The people that pick up the phone are from a call centre, who never pass on your messages unless it’s a sales enquiry!! For those who may think I’m making a big deal of this review, just remember the building inspectors certificate will be required should you decide to sell your property in the future. You will encounter difficulties without the certificate and this may have a bearing on the valuation of your property. Rather than adding value to your property, an un-certified installation, may hit you in the pocket!! Notwithstanding the lack of building certificate, should I encounter issues with the roof, I already accept that I’m unlikely to receive a suitable response from this company, which makes the warranty that came with the contract as valuable as old Chip Paper. I’m in the process of pursuing a suitable legal remedy for my grievance with this company. From my experience, I would not recommend this company to anyone and would urge you to look elsewhere for your roof solution.

Disappointing and Unprofessional Service Work never done till date after taking deposit. Stay away if possible. I am extremely disappointed with the service provided by Conservatory Roof Solutions. After paying a significant initial deposit of £4072, I was promised an installation date of September 30th. However, this date was repeatedly postponed with no clear explanation or communication. The lack of professionalism and customer service is appalling. Since early October, I have been unable to contact the company or its representatives. Despite numerous attempts to reach out, my calls and messages have been ignored. It is incredibly frustrating to have invested a substantial amount of money and to be left in the dark. I strongly advise others to reconsider choosing Conservatory Roof Solutions for any home improvement projects. Their unreliable service and complete disregard for their customers is unacceptable.

Extremely Unprofessional and Untrustworthy Builder— Still Haven’t Received My Deposit Back! I am extremely disappointed with Conservatory Roof Solutions and particularly the managing director, Adrian. Starting with a positive note, the salesperson, David, was fantastic in drawing up conservatory designs and transparent in the pricing. I was happy to proceed with the work, so on the 1st of October, I signed the contract and paid a substantial deposit of £4,000 upfront. Unfortunately, things went downhill from there. On the 14th of October, Adrian called to inform me that the price was too low and needed to be increased. I explained that I had acted in good faith, the contract was signed, and it was past the cancellation period. Adrian then acted unprofessionally, claiming I was unfair and unreasonable, despite being included in all email communications and fully aware of the agreed price. To resolve the situation, I asked Adrian to send over the updated quote for my consideration. On the 16th of October, the quote was raised by £2,800. After the poor experience of dealing with Adrian, I decided not to proceed with the work and requested to terminate the contract and refund my deposit. I asked for proof of cancellation and the return of my deposit in writing, which I never received. After multiple calls and emails (to which no response was received) and Adrian’s false promises to return my money, I had to escalate the issue to TrustATrader and my bank. Conservatory Roof Solutions has now been struck off from TrustATrader as an accredited trader because Adrian has not resolved the complaint filed. Fortunately, I could recover my money through a scam claim with my bank. I strongly advise anyone considering Conservatory Roof Solutions to look elsewhere. Their lack of integrity and professionalism is unacceptable. Save yourself the trouble and find a more reliable and trustworthy builder

Conservatory Roof Solutions recently replaced our old Edwardian style roof, with a timber-frame, tiled, and fully insulated/plastered roof. The Fitters were both local, and were very hard working and cleaned up as they went along, completing the job to a very high Standard, and would highly recommend them to anyone. It has transformed our tied old conservatory into a room we can use and enjoy all year round!
