Your Choice Home Improvement Centre

Service at Your Choice from the beginning to the end was excellent. Eric and his team of installer’s did an amazing job. We had a visit to the showroom in Middleton and Eric showed us around where we could see all the materials that they use. Would definitely recommend to anyone. The work we had done was roof insulation to the inside of the conservatory Well worth 10 Stars 🤩🤩

All in all Your Choice has been very accommodating and kept us up to date of our conservatory project well. Despite delays that were probably not in their control, the project still finished to a good standard. I would say that the overall experience has been a lot less stressful than our previous encounters with builders who left us hanging with no communication.

I am very pleased I hired Your Choice Home Improvements to replace our glass conservatory roof with a tiled roof. I chose Your Choice because it is a local company with a showroom nearby and good reviews. Gary, the Senior Design Consultant, explained everything I needed to know about the product and the process, without any "hard sell". I like that the company employs all its installers directly. The work was delayed because of heavy rain, but I was kept informed and, once started, the work was completed quickly. The installers were polite and professional and left the site clean and tidy at the end of each day. The conservatory is now a pleasant place to sit and relax, even in a heatwave!

Review of Building Work I wanted a wall moving upstairs to make one bedroom smaller and another larger. The now smaller room would have an ensuite added over a single storey room below. The roof over the ensuite would need retiling. A garage cum workshop was to be built attached to the end of the house. Building work I have had done in the past proved very stressful as the builder went months overtime and during this period was impossible to contact. Understandably, I was very apprehensive about having the work described above completed. Yourchoice had many references on well-known sites. I read through dozens of these and only found one which was not favourable, but it was also irrelevant. The first person I met was an architect who was not an employee of the company but, often worked for them. He was very reassuring about the professionalism of the company. Then I met a senior person from the company who was also very frank with me explaining how the work would be accomplished. He subsequently sent me a quote and a contract which I signed. Yourchoice provided the complete package, from design, application for Planning Permission, application for Building Regulations and building inspection to construction itself. I just signed documents and paid for the appropriate fees, I did not have to fill in any of the official application forms. It was all done on my behalf. From the word go I was delighted with the progress of the work. The order of the work was well planned, both simultaneous jobs and jobs dependent on previous ones being completed. During the period of the project there were very few days when there was no-one on site. If a planned job was going to be late, I was prewarned and told when it would be happening. All of the people I encountered were very proud of their work and wanted it to be of the highest quality. I spoke to nearly all of the workers, builders, bricklayers, plumbers, electricians, plasterers, roof tilers some direct employees and some contractors, who unanimously said that Yourchoice was a good firm to work for. I have to say that I am delighted with the final outcome and would strongly recommend Yourchoice. I have been asked by at least two people for the name of the company I used and have given them a strong recommendation. I have also had comment by passers by on how good the house now looks. If someone were in any doubt about Yourchoice I would happily invite them to look at the work I have had done and hopefully allay any worries they may have.

We recently completed a kitchen diner conversion along with a new bathroom and utility room, and the results have exceeded our expectations. From the start, the team was professional, communicative, and highly attentive to detail. The kitchen diner has completely transformed our home—what was once a dated space is now modern, functional, and beautifully designed, with excellent use of space and high-quality finishes throughout. The new bathroom feels luxurious and well thought out, with superb craftsmanship and a perfect balance of style and practicality. The utility room has also made a huge difference, adding valuable storage and improving day-to-day organisation. The team was reliable, kept disruption to a minimum, and delivered everything on time and within budget while maintaining a clean and safe workspace. Overall, we’re delighted with the results and would happily recommend them to anyone considering similar home improvements.

From start to finish all members of the team who worked on my property were professional, clean, and extremely friendly. The scaffolders were the standout lads on the job and were a great bunch. They were very friendly and I received excellent feedback from numerous neighbours. They were extremely hard workers and very clean and tidy. Sam from Your Choice was a god send at times and was always available to speak with and attended my property when required. He was always at hand to answer any questions and brilliantly solved a couple of issues that arised and eased my stressed wife's concerns. The standards of work and craftsmanship were extremely high and clear to see. The finished product exceeded our expectations massively and we are very grateful. If I ever needed any further work on my property, then Your Choice would be at the top of the list.
