The Doorfitters

The Doorfitters is a London-based window and door installation company that has installed thousands of doors over the last eight years. The entire team are qualified carpenters, and some team members have completed the fire door awareness course and are certified with the accreditation. The company is based near North London and covers the London area, as well as Hertfordshire and Essex, and has travelled as far as Manchester.

It fits interior doors, exterior doors, pocket system doors, sliding doors, fire doors, room dividers, and security doors. The Doorfitters offers an A to Z service from measuring up and surveying, to choosing the right doors, installing them, cleaning up and recycling the old waste. It can supply and fit all doors, and will also fit doors and fixings supplied by the customer. It can advise on and supply hinges for doors and can fit handles.

The Doorfitters, a door manufacturer serving Broxbourne and the surrounding area, has built a strong reputation for internal and front door replacement work. Reviews regularly refer to the precision of the finished result, with doors fitted into bespoke frames made on site and closing perfectly. Wayne is named often, described as professional, approachable and skilled at explaining each stage of the process. Customers appreciate his willingness to liaise with suppliers when ordered items need correcting, and several note that he flagged unsuitable choices before installation and arranged replacements.

Punctuality and reliability come up frequently, with teams arriving when promised and completing jobs on schedule. Tidiness is another common theme: carpenters clear up thoroughly after each day and leave homes clean. Communication is praised from first enquiry to final handover, with questions answered and updates provided. Pricing is described as competitive and fair, with work carried out to specification and no unexpected costs. The range of jobs includes replacing all doors in a 1950s house, fitting multiple internal doors in a flat and supplying a new front door. Courteous, diligent and professional conduct throughout is a point that comes up often.
