Pollokshaws Glazing

Householders and tenement residents in Shawlands have relied on this Glasgow glazing firm for work ranging from single replacement panes to whole-property window renewals. Customers writing about their orders describe reglazing jobs in tenement properties, while others highlight a lower double glazing unit fitted with an integral catflap that has performed well over several years. Several accounts note the friendly and efficient manner of the team, with named staff such as Sammy and Jamie receiving particular thanks for their help.

An aspect raised across a number of reviews is the value offered, with customers describing the pricing as reasonable for the work carried out. Communication is also noted, both before and after the job, and one long-standing client speaks of using the company for nearly four decades. The completion of a twenty-six window installation to a high standard, even during a period of material shortages, is cited as evidence of the firm's commitment.

Problems, where they arose, centred on slow responses to enquiries and appointments that were not kept, with some customers reporting that calls went unreturned and arranged visits failed to take place, while other accounts describe quality issues and a lack of follow-up care. These accounts sit alongside the positive experiences, giving a balanced view of a glazing service whose workmanship is valued but whose responsiveness has not always matched that standard.
