M J S Double Glazing Repairs is a small, family-run business based in Rutherglen, covering all of Glasgow and the surrounding areas. With 30 years of experience in double glazing, the company was founded and is owned by Matthew Stroud, who began his career in the industry in 1995 as an apprentice window installer. The company holds full public liability insurance and offers a guarantee on all replacement products.

Services include misted sealed units, replacement hinges, window and door locks and handles, composite door repair, seals and sealant, tilt and turn repair and realignment, draught and leak repairs, all UPVC repairs, and new composite doors. Guarantees provided are 2 years on parts, 5 years on sealed units, 10 years on frames, and 12 months on labour. Free surveys, quotes and advice are available, with advice or estimates also offered through WhatsApp.

Rutherglen and the surrounding Glasgow area are served by M J S Double Glazing Repairs, a business whose reviews consistently highlight the work of Matthew, the named tradesman customers deal with. A handful of customers describe how he inspects windows, offers clear advice on the available options and provides a quote the same day, with reviewers repeatedly mentioning that his pricing compares favourably with other firms.

The types of work covered in the feedback include replacing misted double glazed units, servicing tilt and turn windows so they open and close smoothly, fitting new front doors and side panels, realigning doors, replacing handles and locks, draughtproofing and replacing broken kitchen glass. Punctuality and reliability come up often, with customers noting that Matthew arrives when he says he will and completes jobs on the agreed dates.

Tidiness is another recurring theme, as reviewers describe windows and doors left clean and tidy after the work. Communication is praised before and after each job, and when a manufacturing fault affected one replacement unit, the problem was handled promptly without fuss. Reviewers also value the depth of knowledge and the friendly, accommodating manner shown throughout each visit, whether the task is a small repair or a full door replacement.
