Mersey Shutters

Mersey Shutters is a small, family-run business that has been improving customers' homes and interiors with shutters and blinds for over 10 years. It offers interior window shutters, venetian blinds, and roller blinds for residential and commercial properties. The company serves Liverpool, Merseyside, and the rest of North West England. For residential properties, installation coverage encompasses North Wales, Merseyside, Greater Manchester, and Lancashire. For commercial projects, quotations are issued for properties anywhere in England, Scotland, and Wales.

Mersey Shutters offers four collections of interior window shutters: Nevada, Hampton, Madison, and Dakota. The Nevada and Hampton Collections are made from PVC polyvinyl (faux wood). The Madison Collection is made from sustainably sourced hardwood. The Dakota Collection is made from premium hardwood. Roller blinds are made of at least 80% recycled post-consumer polyester and are available in 156 colours. Interior window shutters can reduce heat loss by up to 58%.

Professionalism and product quality recur throughout accounts of Mersey Shutters, with Frank named repeatedly for the advice he gives on colour, sizing and options. Customers in Liverpool describe being kept informed from the point of order through to fitting, and reviewers often note that appointments and installations took place exactly as arranged. The shutters themselves are described as well made and expertly fitted, with plantation shutters featuring in more than one account. Pricing is mentioned often as clear and competitive, with the absence of pressure or hard selling noted alongside it.

Tidiness is a recurring point: floors, interiors and outside spaces are said to have been left clean after the work, and the team is described as respectful of the home. Communication comes up frequently, both the ease of ordering and the willingness to answer questions and put concerns at rest, with several reviewers returning for additional rooms elsewhere in their properties. The friendliness of Frank and his team is a consistent theme, as is the promptness of the fitting itself. One customer mentions recommending the company to a neighbour, who then arranged a measuring visit, while others describe supporting a local business as part of the appeal.
