Double Glazing Plus

Double Glazing Plus is a family-run window and door installation business based in Arnold, Nottinghamshire. It is run by a father-and-son team, Trevor and Charlie. Trevor spent more than 40 years in the double glazing industry, and the team has over 40 years of double glazing experience.

The service area includes Nottingham, Arnold, Mapperley, Hucknall and nearby areas. The company supplies and fits uPVC windows, composite doors and uPVC doors. Every installation is carried out by the company itself, with no subcontractors. It offers free, no-obligation quotations and does not use pushy sales tactics.

UPVC window and door installation is the core of what this Nottingham company does, and the accounts focus on how that work is delivered in practice. Charlie, sometimes alongside his father or Trevor, is named across the feedback for the effort and coordination brought to fitting jobs such as a pair of windows with French doors, or a new front door. Reviewers describe a straightforward process from the initial measuring visit in Hucknall through ordering parts to installation a few days later.

Communication is a point that comes up often, with arrival times confirmed by message and handled considerately when both a tenant and a landlord were involved. The finished standard draws consistent praise, whether old single glazed wooden frames were replaced with UPVC units, glass was swapped, or a sliding door mechanism was improved as an extra while on site. Tidiness and courtesy are highlighted too, with clean working practices and a helpful manner noted. Reliability recurs, particularly where another fitter had left a job waiting for months.
