Before seeking quotes for windows, we researched what was deemed to be the favoured three companies covering our area. Our research was not wasted as DGMS Windows provided us with a first class professional service throughout the journey, from the initial survey and pricing, through to fitting and completion. All their staff work solely for the company with no subcontractors used. Sales work on a salary basis and not commission, so it is in their interest to provide an upfront competitive quote with no haggling, unlike some other window and door companies. We found the sales person extremely knowledgeable about the products, answering our questions in detail and affirming our own research. The fitters were both polite and professional (despite them working in summer temperatures of nearly 30 degrees!) and provided options of how we wanted them to do a particular job with useful suggestions. The result is a first class job and Windows that have turned heads within our locality. Not always the case im this day and age, but a first class service from DGMS, who we would definitely recommend and use again!

I contacted DGMS after a friend recommended them. They got back to me quickly about getting a quote. Staff at each stage of the process answered any questions I had and I felt confident that I'd get what I wanted. They arrived to appointments on time and were always polite and knowledgeable about what they were doing. Work was carried out on time and to the standard I was expecting. Fitters checked with me for clarifications on where I wanted hooks and security chains. They showed me how to operate the new locks and let me try them out a few times before they left. Everything has been left tidy afterwards and I'm very pleased with my new doors.

Fabulous company from top to bottom - recently replaced all our external wooden windows and doors, not a small job. From initial contact it felt like DGMS cared about their customers, no questions were irrelevant and answered promptly. Gave us good advice and stuck to timescales, we like the fact they also employ their fitters. The fitters were with us for a week, primarily Jamie and Reece, assisted by Josh on a couple of days, were faultless, obviously cared about their work and checked with us constantly as some older windows were not straight forward to remove. Disruption was kept to a minimum and they cleaned up afterwards to a very good standard, at all times they were friendly and polite. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend DGMS if you are thinking of replacing any doors as windows.

Great local firm! This is the second time I've used them - I was so happy with the job at my own house, I arranged for them to do some work at my mothers. Very easy process - arranged for them to come to view for a quote. Once accepted a more detailed measure and confirmation of details. Then the fitting. On each occasion everyone was polite and courteous. The fitters ( their own NOT contractors I should add) were clean and tidy, and just got on with the job. I couldn't be happier and wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone in the area - you won't find better!

I’ve just had the 6 windows at the front of the house replaced by DGMS + a new Composite front door. I don’t often post reviews but thought I’d do a quick post. Was impressed with the competitive prices. Excellent survey prior to the job. The lads arrived at 7.10am in 2 vans. Work commenced at 7.45am and completed by mid afternoon. Extremely professional and skilled work force. All windows and door fitted exceptionally well. Tied up afterwards. The house looks great. Very impressed from start to finish. Recommend. Absolute experts. DGMS managed to source a part and repair a 40-year-old tilt & turn window that most companies would have written off as "obsolete." It was a tricky two-man job requiring real competence, and they handled it brilliantly. They gave me some friendly ribbing for moving here from St Albans—little did they know I’m actually a West Yorkshireman who just spent a few decades 'undercover' in the South! Despite the banter, they showed true Yorkshire integrity by proactively knocking £60 off the bill because the work took less time than expected. Honest, highly skilled, and great communication from Beth in the office. It’s rare to find a company that reduces their own price when a job goes smoothly. Highly recommended.
