Do not deal with this company, they will say the delivery has arrived but most times there’s missing items and if you don’t let them know instantly they will act as you have received the items. Do not sign any pieces of paper until you have checked everything and then make sure you only sign once everything arrives, otherwise cancel the delivery. You cannot trust them otherwise.
Fire doors arrived cheap and flimsy. Low-grade materials, thin cores —nothing that inspires confidence in actual fire performance. Poor hardware alignment and seals made installation a mess. Build quality is nowhere near what it should be for fire-rated doors. Save your money. Avoid this company
Great service and prompt delivery . Been using AX for over 15 years for all my projects. Offer a great bespoke service for odd size doors and also good spraying service for your pre finished doors.
Not easy to get into the car park for this place but worth it. A simple showroom with lots of doors and all the extra bits plus a very knowledgeable and helpful chap at the counter. I'd been going nuts trying to source different size fire doors and regular doors from all over the internet, my neighbour recommended this place so went down to take a look. I just gave them the list with the sizes and they took care of the rest, made it really easy. I hate DIY so finding this place that just does it all for you without charging an arm and a leg... Well worth it. They even pulled out all the stops to deliver on the same day when my carpenter insisted on starting work the next day. I'm no expert but all the kit looks proper, carpenter kept complaining how heavy the doors were, that must be a good sign. Even the hinges look nice! One simple, discounted price without all the haggling and nonsense, would definitely recommend. Must remember to thank my neighbour too.
Very bad customer service.I bought 8 doors, Handles and hinges and thumbturn lock..I did spend £1500 there. Because I don't needed the £12 worth of lock so I took it back for refund.The man who served me when I bought the dorrs he was there when Iasked him for refund his behaviour was really bad.at the end he gave me £10 back.. It was not professional at all.Will never go back again.
Bogus service, uncomfortable dealing with Paul from the start, never again, only reason it isn’t a 1 star is because the delivery driver was respectful and the female member at the office sorted my issues. Once you pay be careful because there is not really any guarantee as such, they make it hard work should you change your mind or want to exchange and you won’t get any money back when issues arise. I’m doing another 2 builds but won’t use these lot again.
