Absolutely fantastic service! Contacted in the morning as our patio doors were not closing or locking. Within 3 hours, John, the fitter, came and fixed them. Professional, friendly, efficient, knew exactly how to repair and only took him 10 minutes. We’ve used the company previously and always highly recommend them, for repairs, new windows and doors and for everyone who admires our cat flap in the window pane next to our front door. I was very happy with everything from start to finish with Window Pains MK. I already knew Andy and Keely so when I needed a window replacing at a rental property I have, there was no other option than getting them to help. I got an idea of the price from the online calculator and then Keely booked in a survey for accurate measurements. The window was ready and installed within a week which was important as there was a gap between tenants so this saved stress of someone moving in and then booking an install date. As an aside, the letting agent recommended that another window was replaced as the units were supposedly blown, so I asked Andy if he could take a look at it whilst he was there, and quote if necessary, and this is where the honesty shone through. The window didn't need replacing at all, it was just where the property was empty and condensation had built up. He inspected all of the other windows whilst he was there and recommended one hinge to be changed and one handle as well - two things that certainly didn't break the bank. I can thoroughly recommend this company I have used them a few times and last time was to have new patio doors fitted which involved removal of a small wall. Doors look great. I have always found the staff very professional and friendly and the service is great. Also very reasonably priced whether it's for repairs on new windows.

They were ok at first, came and quoted for fitting a porch on the side of my house 5 years ago, price was reasonably cheap (now I know why). We had no end of problems from the start, had to call them out numerous times over the following months as the porch was leaking in several places, they kept coming, saying they had fixed it and then the next time it rained we had to get the buckets out again (9 in total)! The last time they came out they assured me it was now sorted, he said he had put lead flashing down so it won't leak again. It still leaked but I didn't bother calling them back as I had completely lost faith in their ability to right a wrong. Last week all the interior garage lights and our outside security lights kept tripping, we called an electrician who had to disconnect all our electrics from the garage as the water was seeping through the garage wall where the porch was attached, he got on a step ladder and looked at where the electric cables went into the garage along the porch roof and took a picture and showed me the bodge job that was up there! He said there was no lead flashing just piles of gaffer tape stuck everywhere but they had left a hole in the roof so the water was just running in our garage, there was no proper gully or draining method up there so when it rained the water just sat there seeping through our garage wall, he ran a finger across the mortar inside our garage and it was just falling off the bricks it was that wet. I checked the guarantee that came with the porch and it says the workmanship is only guaranteed for 2 years where as the UPVC part was guaranteed for 10 years. I called a local roofing company this week to come and take a look, they were astounded at all the mistakes that were made on the original install and they were appalled at the shoddy roof work, they said there is no lead flashing up there and no proper drainage at all, even the guttering they stuck on the outside was not fit for purpose, he said he could put his hand in all the gaps between the frame and the roof and was shocked that they left the soffits and fascia's inside the porch from the original roof, he also pointed out the amount of mastic that had been overused and shoddily applied, which I hadn't really noticed before, not being familiar with the ins and outs of the building trade. He has quoted me nearly double what the porch cost me originally but most of that is to fix the problems that Window Pains MK left and is now putting a solid roof on with proper drainage. He has also assured me that the porch will be more sturdy and not "wobble" when you open the porch door or a window! He said he's never seen such an unsteady structure. Another thing he pointed out was that Window Pains MK offer a 10 year guarantee on the frames but only a 2 year guarantee for workmanship which speaks volumes! They are more or less saying that their work won't last longer than 2 years, we never even got that! Their name certainly lives up, I've never known so many Pains from a window company! (I had to put one star as it didn't give me the option of putting zero star!)

Would not recommend. Made an appointment on the 24th October for the company to attend on the 2nd November. Confirmation of who would attend and tracking emails received. Waited in from 1 till 5. No-one attended or contacted me to let me know they weren't coming. They had two ways to contact me, email and phone. Contacted the company shortly after the missed slot. It took them until 4th Nov to reply.. Their response was it was human error! Why have a booking system with tracking if you're just going to miss it from a schedule?
