Phillip is a rarity these days. He understands the value of building an excellent reputation and earning recommendations (which I will now duly do, by telling all the other people on my site who have a roller shutter, and anyone else I speak to in my industry, what a nice chap he is). While most companies are quick to hit you with an invoice before their van has stopped rolling, Phillip seeks to help you out, not make your day worse with a huge call-out charge. He clearly knows his stuff, and more importantly, he's not going to try to sell you a new, expensive component if a repair or adjustment is all that is required. Replacement door between garage and kitchen. Steel fire resistant door and frame, solid construction, fits and looks much better than the wooden door it replaced. Phil and Colin worked quietly, effectively, and quickly. Delighted with the whole experience.

Wow what fabulous service! Turned up when they said they would, kept me informed of the process every step of the way. The price was amazing compared to what I had previously been given. Old up and over electric garage door needed replacing and was really impressed by Colin who came out to quote. Very polite and knowledgeable he did a thorough job measuring up and explained everything. Rebecca in the office was quick to send out the very competitive quote and communication one quote accepted was great. This continued when Phillip and Colin came to fit the new roller door. Very polite, clean and tidy and did a fantastic job. Would recommend them to anyone who requires a new door or service/repair.

Phillip from Spartan Doors has today completed the installation of a new electrically operated Trojan insulated roller door for my elderly mum. I found Spartan Doors through Checkatrade and was immediately impressed by the number of 5 star reviews left by customers over a prolonged period of time. I live in Oxfordshire but my mum is in Leicestershire, but from the first phone call to the completion of the installation, the customer service received from Phillip has been simply outstanding and without fault. Phillip came out to look at the job within 24 hours of our initial call and he provided me with two alternative garage door types. As we evaluated each option, no request for information ofr clarity was too much trouble for Phillip, answering numerous queries in a very professional and timely manner. During our evaluation, Phillip even offered to return to my mum's to take some pictures of the colour swatches positioned against the existing door for us to decide on the best colour match. Throughout the whole process, Phillip communicated in a clear and timely manner, all the information given around the door options and specifications were detailed but easy to compare, the production lead-times were accurate and several installation dates were offered for us to select for our convenience. In addition, at all times, Phillip was completely respectful of my mum's age and being on her own, which we greatly valued. I have absolutely no hesitation in recommending Phillip and Spartan Doors to anyone considering replacing or repairing their garage door, In fact, I was so impressed by the experience and service received from Phillip & Rebecca that I felt compelled to share my satisfaction with them at the time we finalised the order rather than waiting until the door had been installed and that's the first time I have ever done that in many years of engaging various type of tradesmen. Spartan are an absolute credit to their industry! From Phil & Colin on the road, to Rebecca in the office, their communication, incite & professionalism has been exceptional at every level throughout my interaction with them.🙌 After a bad installation & generally poor experience from a bigger firm who originally made & installed my shutter, Spartan were contracted to fit replacement parts & do remedial work to my 3yr old tired roller unit. In comparison the experience was like night & day. Spartan were like “a breath of fresh air” to deal with & seemingly had a desire “to go the extra mile” at every stage, providing prompt & detailed updates throughout the process, to ensuring everything was running perfect on site before leaving. They were punctual, professional, conscientious & considerate to my needs/requests, going above & beyond to fit bespoke brackets (custom made on site) in a very tight/awkward spaces, to support & square-up my previously “saggy” framework & ensure my roller shutter now glides up & down its tracks effortlessly & with minimal noise, like never before!👌 I don’t normally take the time out to review, but when a company gets it soo right, especially a small independent one like Spartan, then I believe it’s only right that you champion them & sing their praises!
