Itchen Glass and Glazing

Itchen Glass & Glazing is a window and door installation company based in Southampton with over 30 years of experience. The company fits uPVC windows, doors, and conservatories, and works exclusively with high-performance products from Liniar. It provides double glazing installations across Southampton and the wider Hampshire area, including Totton, Woolston, Park Gate, and the surrounding South Coast. Services include double-glazed glass replacements for homes and businesses, emergency repairs, scheduled work, and efficient window and door repairs.

It installs and repairs uPVC and aluminium windows such as casement, tilt-and-turn, flush sash, and French windows, along with energy-efficient double glazing, soundproof and security glass upgrades, and repairs for misted glass, hinges, locks, and seals. The company supplies front and back doors, including composite and uPVC, as well as bi-fold, French, barn, and patio doors, aluminium and security door systems, glass units, integral blinds, and custom door design tools. It creates conservatories in Edwardian, Victorian, and lean-to styles, and fits roof lanterns. It also offers BGB units for windows, internal doors, and external doors in residential and commercial settings.

Householders commissioning full property upgrades alongside smaller glass and glazing projects have left a consistent record of their experience with Itchen Glass and Glazing. The finished standard of workmanship is the thread that ties the accounts together, whether the job involved a set of replacement windows, a new front door, a porch installation or a made-to-measure piece of glass for a garden well. Carmine and Giles are named repeatedly for the advice they give during the selection process, helping customers narrow down designs without any pressure to buy.

Reviewers frequently highlight how the job was organised, from the initial visit through to completion, with updates provided as work progressed and queries answered promptly. Fitting crews are described as friendly, professional and careful about keeping the property clean, and the pricing is generally called fair for the quality delivered. A recurring observation concerns the willingness to handle additional small tasks during the same visit, such as adjusting a lock or repairing a door. Customers note that they would return for further rooms, with the cladding and bifold work cited as examples of the broader scope handled.
