Dave Kendall Ltd Glass and Glazing

Dave Kendall Ltd Glass and Glazing is a window and door installation company based in Newcastle upon Tyne. Dave Kendall has been involved in the glazing industry for over 35 years. The company installs German-designed, English-manufactured window frames. It uses energy-efficient A-Rated glass. The company supplies and fits made-to-measure glass units, composite doors in any colour, and triple glazing. It has installed all major British profiles over the years.

For the last 18 months, the company has been installing German profiles only. It provides full guarantees on doors, windows, glass and glazing. The company uses EnergiMax® A-Rated glass units in its triple glazed windows. Its standard window frames accommodate 44mm triple glazing. It can supply or supply and fit replacement double or triple glazed units. Its main services include windows, doors, replacement glass, and double and triple glazing.

Homeowners needing replacement glazing or a cat flap fitted into an existing door have left detailed accounts of work carried out by Dave Kendall, and the same themes surface again and again. Reviewers repeatedly mention how quickly enquiries are answered, with measurements arranged the following day and the new unit installed shortly after.

A theme running through the feedback is the tidiness of the finished job, old glass taken away and nothing left behind, and the standard of workmanship itself is described as excellent across double glazed panes, French doors and full glass replacements. Dave is named personally for his friendly approach and the practical advice he gives, such as steering one customer towards a more suitable cat flap than the one originally chosen. Communication is another constant, with updates provided while materials were being sourced and a return visit made to complete the fitting once they arrived.

Quotes based on photographs are said to make the process simple, and the fair pricing and courteous manner are noted throughout. More involved jobs, including easing out an older window to move furniture through and refitting it afterwards, are handled with the same care. Alongside glazing, the business covers bathroom, kitchen and conservatory renovation work.
