In March 2023 I ordered 6 shutters and they took 50% deposit (£1,200). They installed 4 in the July (the agreement was to install full 6, but apparently the last 2 went missing in their warehouse) left house in an absolute STATE, didn't inform me why or when it'll be completed. Had to chase em for months. Got a date end of October, no one arrived. I raise a complaint, they barely apologise and offer me £175 for the inconvenience, which I found laughable... Lots of back and forth later, I cancel, don't care about remaining 2 to go - I will go to someone else to finish the last of the shutters. Speak to the owner, they agree and send me final invoice - I need to pay an extra £350 for the work that has been done. I understand their calculations but didn't find it fair - we agreed on 6 shutters, they did not fulfill the contrac and caused a lot of stress along the way. Poor service. Went to Citizens Advice who backed me and advised me to tell them to come out and take them all back and fully refund me or I'll go to Small Claims, finally, they backed down. They're overpriced and the service is poor. Village Blinds is supposed to be good, I've heard.

Had a reasonable quote and blinds ordered and fitted within less than a week of me first contacting them. Brilliant customer service and a really quick and efficient fitting.

Glen, the measurer/estimator rang me 20mins before scheduled arrival and was super efficient and gave me a price on the spot for a bay window +3 others. Installer arrived ahead of schedule with advance notice and completed job perfectly. I wouldn’t hesitate to use them again 5 star all round!
