Had x4 experiences of dealing over the phone and over the counter, and have nothing but praise for their direct and efficient service, stretching over 10 years. They did appear to be very busy on occassions (but never rude), so orders probably get backed upped -like any walk-in/over the counter business. Understanding this -and even though I'm somewhat disabled, I always try to make and collect my order, as swiftly, precisely and respectively as possible. A Good, Professional and Honest Local Business is all I have experienced with Roman Glass.

A great local business with friendly customer service. I have used in the past for replacement greenhouse panes. Very cost effective and great service. I needed two items, a replacement double glazed unit for a timber casement window (the old unit had 'blown') and a piece of toughened glass for a tabletop. Understandably the company couldn't provide any advice on the double glazing unit (other than availability in thicknesses of multiples of 2mm), as this is the buyers specification. The double glazed units are ordered in and the company want no responsibility for mistakes. In addition the company doesn't 'cut' toughened glass, but could provide laminated, as an alternative, or order toughened to specification. At this point it was simpler just to order the glass directly online. Sorry.

I needed a replacement picture glass for the one I broke. It took all of 10 minutes to be found, cut to size and presented to me. Fascinating to watch the skill of the staff as they cut the glass In front of me. And much cheaper than I expected.
