STUNNING TRANSFORMATION. Had a large P shape conservatory with a Poly sheeted panel roof which were coming to the end of their life, for years had been having companies arrive and push for a sale, in early May a new "Checkatrade" leaflet arrived and Nu-Look name took my eye. Salesman Gavyn came with samples to show construction, liked what we heard so went with Nu Look, next step Matt the surveyor approved the build agreeing it could go a head. Week of build weather looked horrendous but it held off, Gareth and Archie arrived and what professionals they were, turned up on time and made sure all materials were on hand to complete the work. They needed to deconstruct and construct framework to allow the electrical work by "Dixie" and plastering by Brett and Darren to go a head, watching Gareth cut those angled sections more so for the valley was outstanding, such a craftsman and Archie was kept on his toes. Same with Brett and Darren outstanding plaster work and gave great advice when to paint ceiling due to hot weather, Dixie finished LED lighting. We also went for building control which Nu -Look deal with via Stroma. Must not forget Emily in the office, any issues she was on it. We opted for the £100 deposit on agreement and the Novuna finance route, which we paid off soon after with an additional cost of £29 to do so, great finance company, web site and communications excellent. We had a conservatory and now have a garden room and already in these very hot conditions we feel a difference much more comfortable, so if you are thinking about replacing those poly sheets give NU-Look a call, glad we did. Nu-look have done a fantastic job of replacing my old poly carbonate roof with a solid roof. I can't recommend them highly enough, from the initial consultation with Gavyn, to the surveyor, and all of the tradesmen involved.

Excellent company. This is a great company wth a great product. I wanted to insulate my conservatory roof. I had several companies around to quote for the work. Nu-Look were the only company where the representative took time to listen to what my problem was and discuss a proposed solution. All the others simply tried to press a product on me without listening to the customer. Additionally all the other companies offered their “solution” at ridiculously high prices. If you want a builder who listens to his clients problem and proposes a solution that meets the client’s needs not theirs then use Nu-Look for unparalleled quality and value for money. Following my acceptance of the quote I was visited by a very professional surveyor who was like every other person associated with the company being polite and keen to answer any questions I had. When the tradesmen arrived they were bang on time. They undertook the installation quickly and to a high standard. They were professional and polite throughout. We’ve just had our conservatory roof replaced with a fully insulated tiled roof by Nu-Look. From the very beginning having Eddie come to us and take a look at our current roof and provide us with a solution to allow us to use this room all year round was just what we needed. Eddie has extensive knowledge in the business and explained everything perfectly and provided us with a price that day. Communication throughout the entire process was excellent and this is also true of how the overall project was managed. The labourers who removed the existing roof and built the new roof were very professional and knew exactly what they were doing. They were also happy to answer any questions that we had during the build. When their work was complete they left everything clean and tidy ready for the plasterer. The plasterer “Brett Jarvis Plastering Ltd” did a fantastic job and was even kind enough to fill a couple of existing holes in the conservatory walls. The electrician also did a great job of installing the spotlights. It wasn’t straightforward as we learned that whoever installed the original lights and fan had run them from the mains! The electrician was kind enough to install an isolator switch to prevent any future problems. Please extend our thanks to the labourers, plasterer and electrician. We can’t thank you all enough. We can’t wait to start using the room during this winter, which we’ve never done before!

We did our research for having the conservatory roof converted from a polycarbonate aluminium spar roof to a solid insulated roof. We researched 4 companies, and had 4 sales rep visits. Nu look was our 2nd, with Gavyn as our first impression of the company. He arrived promptly, talked us through the whole process, and even brought a cross section sample of the roof construction. Gavyn had the samples of all tiles and colours, plus an informative brochure , for us to peruse later, as it is a lot to take in initially. The process quoted, was not the cheapest of the four quotes, nor was it the most expensive, but we liked the quality of the materials, and the presentation from Gavyn swayed us. We were kept up to date with the installation process from Nicola and Emily with all the expected date for the surveyor to attend, for precise measurements and the dates for the main construction, plasterer and the electrician. The team on the first day were Gareth and Archie. They were bang on time, and set to work almost immediately. First they cut a fabulous exact floor covering in the conservatory to protect our wood floor, from boots, building materials, and plaster etc. At the end of day, Gareth and Archie made sure the incomplete roof was watertight until their return the next morning. Their work was faultless, they were quiet, polite, methodical, and had obviously worked together a lot, as they knew exactly what they were doing, and what the other wanted before they did. Gareth and Archie worked all day, almost to last light (November) and virtually had lunch on the go. Any questions we had during the conversion, they were able to answer with absolute full knowledge. They cleaned up after each day, taking away all the building detritus, and left a safe area for us in the evening. I can’t thank these two enough for their hard work, and professionalism. Next in….was the electrician to do first fit for the main light and spotlights…again, very efficient and accurate. Our next tradesman was Clint the Plasterer. What a nice guy, and what a skilled plasterer. Again, very polite, got on with his work and did a fantastic job….we are so pleased with the finish of the roof. Clint again cleaned up, and left everything ready for the electrician. Then came Jim the electrician, and fitted the centre light of our choice and 6 spotlights,(the spotlights were included in the quote) and fitted the bespoke conduit and switches that we had bought in antique brass. All tradesman were prompt and meticulous, and we cannot fault their work, their time keeping or their professionalism. We can already feel that the room is warmer (Nov), and we should be able to use it more in the summer when it will be cooler. We would recommend Nu Look without hesitation.

We used NU LOOK conservatory roofing combined with Parklane windows for a complete rebuild of our conservatory. I have to say how amazing this company works, everything from the start to finish was perfect. From removing the old conservatory to rebuilding new one with Parklane windows it was an amazing job. We had 2 gentlemen doing this job and they were absolutely brilliant. After the conservatory was completed, NU Look roofing followed and again what an amazing team of workers Andy Ben and Andy , I can't praise them enough. From removing the old roof to putting the new one on , everything went smoothly and the result is amazing. Everything was very well organised from start to finish. Excellent planing and communication. We are more than happy with end result I would definitely recommend this company to anyone. I would like to say a big thank you to everyone involved in our project .

What an amazing experience - from start to finish. Don’t often use contractors to work around the house but this company were an absolute pleasure to deal with - from initial contact, through planning the dates, to the professional installation team. The result is better than any brochure can convey - we are delighted with the results and it will certainly change the way that we are able to use our conservatory space - now referred to as the ‘garden room’!
