Pretty straightforward. Windscreen replacement arranged via insurers. Excess payment taken online. Windscreen replacement done within time slot booked. No issues.

Absolute shambles of a business by far the worst I've dealt with in a long time. No care for customers. Will happily book you in and demand money everyday via email and texts constantly till paid then on the day they won't turn up or communicate with you to let you know what's happening they just completely ignore you. If you need a windscreen use a reputable company this company offered through insurance excess is a red flag if you see them offered avoid at all costs!

Would never recommend National Windscreens. They were recommended as the approved retailer by our insurance company. Initially said that the BMW OEM glass that we wanted was out of stock with no ETA could be months, I'd spoken to BMW personally and they confirmed everything was available. Went back to NW, and they stated maybe BMW were quoting the wrong glass!!! They cancelled the job twice, manager of the Ipswich branch never phoned back after the request. I had the approval from insurers to get them to order BMW glass, but they still cancelled the job. I eventually went to a new company recommened by BMW who ordered the OEM, had it delivered the next day (Friday) and had it repaired on the Monday. As the other reviews state, NW won't be bothered by this review as they have no customer service and couldn't care less!!

Insurance company arranged for replacement of windscreen. No contact from National Windscreens Ipswich. Had to wait for two weeks for appointment? Appsolultly no contact from them? Had to chase on 3 separate occasions, then they cancelled 30mins before appointment! Utterly useless.

They cancelled twice, both on the day of the appointment, new appointment was yesterday, txt in the morning said they will be with me between 9 and 4.30, app said i was next job, no one turned up, stayed in all day for nothing, and not even the decency to phone and let me know they were not coming. But they needed to be paid up front for the job !!! I will be asking my insurance company for the money back i paid and asking them to arrange a different company.

The single worst experience I’ve ever had, nobody has a clue what they are doing. Even when you provide them with all the specific information they need on the booking they manage to supposedly turn up with the wrong screen. Wasted day! Customer service guy just laughed as he is obviously used to receiving these type of calls. The manager of Chelmsford called me to get more information and advised the Ipswich manager would contact me, sadly this has not happened. Any chance of me allowing them to resolve the situation has now gone. Avoid this company like the plague.
