Manchester Doors

Manchester Doors is a window and door installer based in Manchester. The company makes only 100% handmade exterior solid wood doors and frames, which are handmade in the traditional manner with mortise and tenon joints. It can add period detail such as ovolo and lamb tongue mouldings. The company completes both internally and externally, from start to finish. It can manufacture all timber frames to compliment the bespoke doors such as flag, fanlight or circular.

For a professional finish, the company uses colours from Dulux and Farrow & Ball, and also stains for a natural finish with Sikkens or Sadolin. The door fittings are supplied by Carlisle Brass, and security is delivered by Yale and ERA products. Alan and Darren are named as persons involved in the company. The company offers Georgian front doors, Victorian front doors, Edwardian front doors, 30's & 40's front doors, and contemporary doors.

Manchester Doors receives a customer account describing a front door made to a high standard, with leaded glazing matched to the period of the property. The same account calls the service professional and friendly throughout, and treats the bespoke nature of the door as central to the work.

The business operates from Ramsbottom and carries out door work, and that customer presents the fitting as having gone without difficulty. Craftsmanship and a courteous manner are the points singled out, centred on the making and installation of a door that met expectations for appearance and finish.
