Kloeber Cambridgeshire - Made To Measure Doors & Windows

Quality windows let down by poor installation (they sent subcontractors who were apparently former Kloeber employees). Endless problems due primarily to poor fitting. Awful customer service, they really don’t want to know, taking months to do anything, and ultimately disclaiming responsibility when the issue is clearly theirs. Would never use them again. Avoid like the plague, and ignore the smarmy reply they will no doubt make to this.

We first used Kloeber back in 2006 for a set of bifold wooden doors, they were superb. Really helpful, knowledgeable and competent. The doors were excellent too. So when we needed aluminium sliding doors for a garden room 19 years later we knew where to turn, the whole experience has been amazing. Their Sales Manager, Troy Poleon speedily took on board our needs and tailored everything to ensure we were delighted. He is first rate. The doors will be installed later this year, I will come back and let you know how installation went and our thoughts on the doors. I am sure we will be delighted once again.

I don’t often leave reviews but compelled after a recent visit. I had a great experience at Kloeber Windows! The showroom has an impressive range of stylish, high-quality windows, and the staff were incredibly helpful and knowledgeable. Even though I’m not ready to purchase for another six months they took the time to understand what I needed and gave expert advice without any pressure. Highly recommend if you’re looking for beautiful windows and excellent service!

Ordered a new front door - aluminium funky front. This is our second door and frame supplied and fitted by Kloeber. We remain very happy customers. There are cheaper products out there, but this really is a case of “you get what you pay for”. Product is incredibly high quality - great in terms of heat insulation and security - and it looks great into the bargain. Installation team of Tony, Matt, Sam and Darren did a superb job in all respects. Worth noting in particular that the team was punctual, they cleaned up after themselves, pleasant and were very respectful. They also went above and beyond and helped with making good around the frame, removing some old silicone from the bricks amongst other things. Difficult to know how the process from order to install could have been any better. We’re very happy and strongly recommend Kloeber, its products and its team.

Be prepared if you decide to buy from Kloeber, i purchased their external timber folding doors which do run very nicely however be ready for appalling customer service and a company with no quality control either at their factory or installation. I have had 6 visits so far to put things right and after 7 months still have water ingress delaying my project further which the technical director is trying to blame on external factors rather than the competance of his installation team. There are further problems with quality and specification, the doors are sold as 'bepoke' however what they should say in their brochure is 'made to order' (as 95% of external doors tend to be) a wooden panel with 8mm of mastic filler on the inside is not a bespoke product, other agreed specification details have not been met. I have an unresolved situation after 7 months leaving me a difficult decision on what action i should take next. Its a real shame the company operate in this way after you have paid in full, i would rather be recommending companies than having to give 1 star reviews.

Avoid this company. The Uberslide door is stiff and heavy after being poorly installed by Kloeber, proving poor value for it's premium price. 5 months after installing a 2nd floor top hung window without a restrictor for my 8 year old daughter, I have been offered a £15 Jackloc as an alternative for the in-built safety catch i was supposedly sold. Installations were delayed, they took months to come out to look at installation issues, and think that all of the issues are within tolerance levels. Poor quality, installation and customer service. Don't end up with the same regret I have.

So we bought this door and it was fitted 9 years ago! And our house front is south facing so it gets full sun. It’s never been re painted as timber. All I do is use Demon car spray and shine which seems to protect it perfectly. Love the door as good as the day it was fitted . With kloeber you definitely get what you pay for ! Fantastic service, friendly staff and most importantly a superior quality product 10/10.
