He came quickly to measure for new door and living room window panes, and managed to fit the 4 double glazed units today in extreme heat at our convenience. Had Andy come out a couple of weeks ago to give us a quote on a new door. Turned up as arranged, very polite and gave some good advice on what to go for. Paid deposit and waited the 3 weeks turn around. Fitters Turned up at the time arranged very polite and friendly. Job was done very quickly and cleaned up any mess before they left. A great experience from start to Finish. A great example as to how all professional trades should treat customers. Definitely recommend them. Vince

I reached out to a few companies after needing a new door and Hizzard was quick to respond, very helpful and always polite. The same day Andy visited my property showed me what they offer and quoted me a reasonable offer. Very quick and easy deal no messing about which I prefer. After waiting a few weeks for the door to be made I had Steve fit my door and again he was very polite and friendly & left a clean professional finish on my new door no mess left behind which again is a big deal for me. I can’t recommend these guys enough 10/10 from me and a huge thankyou to you all.

BDM Limited have had hundreds of windows fitted by this company at numerous care homes across the country and we couldn’t be happier with the results. They are an excellent, professional team who clearly take pride in their work. From the initial consultation to the final installation, everything was handled smoothly and efficiently. The quality of the windows is outstanding, and the fitting was done to a very high standard with great attention to detail. The team was punctual, polite, and kept everything clean and tidy throughout the process. What really stood out was the combination of top-quality products and affordable pricing, which is hard to find these days. Reposting a review manages to get deleted. This is my honest review of this company, Hizzard Windows, from my personal experience. Be very mindful that this company had previously advertised as being Which accredited which is incorrect due to them being removed due to many complaints. They also say they are members of checkatrade, again they have been removed! Why does a company feel they have to lie about who they are members of? We had the misfortune of this company completing work in 2019. Andy really can talk the talk, but that's about it! I had to constantly chase for fitting dates, installation took double the amount of time stated and was left in a right state. There was no clearing up after fitting but this would turn out to be the least of the issues. There were a number of issues and a number of return visits, all of which did not resolve the issues. In the end the communication just stopped! Issues included leaking windows, windows that could not be opened when the sun shined, poor beading, deep mark's to frames internal & external, doors that would not close, incorrect locks fitted, paid more for secure locks, locks fitted were Eurocell few pound ones which no accreditation, scratched window, to name just a few things, there was also a window which did not close correctly and you could get your fingers between the frame and window. This was also draughty as were a number of windows. The sealing outside the windows was shocking and a number of the windows had been measured incorrectly and thick trim was used for to hide this. The windows were advised to be 'A' rated, these were confirmed as not!. There were many more issues but these are just a few. These windows were viewed by a few companies to make repairs to but nobody was prepared to touch. The end result was having to replace all doors and windows. Before new windows were installed I removed the trims round to decorate the areas and leant against one window and the whole window frame came out! In the end it turned out 3 window frames had not been secured in! Also a door frame completely came away when my child stood on then cil because they had not been secured correct. Very scary and dangerous. When the new company removed the windows they found further issues and also found that these frames were not reinforced as stated and one of the frames was that flimsy that you force the window open without damaging it due to the flexibility. This caused months of stress. From all the issues I did some research on the company and found that this has been dissolved on a number of occasions, company house shows no few than 8 different trading names, each one with money owed and then the company dissolved, companies left without money and the company recarnating under a slightly different name. Honestly do not trust this company / man. He really could charm anyone, but get other quotes as you can get far better quality for same, similar and even cheap amounts. The mental stress this bloke caused me is indescribable and I would wish this on anyone else.
