Denton Glazing Services

Bay windows no longer closing properly, catching on the frame (installed10yrs ago by a different company who were very unhelpful when i called them). After a search on Google I contacted Denton Glazing Services and spoke to Andrea who was the complete opposite and was super friendly and helpful. I provided some photos and Andrea came back to me very quickly, provided a couple of scenarios and estimated costs pending a visit. Andrea booked me an appointment within a couple of weeks. Colin arrived today, confirmed the issue and got it sorted swiftly. No mess and the windows have never opened and closed so smoothly! Colin was very kind to provide some advice on maintenance too. All in all a great, friendly service and i would definitely use again and recommend. Thanks

Seeing all these lovely reviews of Colin is such a shame because this was not my experience. Not only was he rude, ableist and arrogant he rang up Andrea straight away in the car park to tell his side of the story which was complete rubbish that made me out to be crazy. Thankfully I wasn’t the only person in the house that witnessed/heard how horrible he was when he got told from me personally about the front room not being in an ideal state and apologised. He went onto a tangent as if i work for Stockport homes and ordered this job personally. I told him I don’t like his attitude and he went onto another tangent about wasting time and that he needs to preform his job safely and for me to move everything (I have elhers Danlos syndrome) so I said no I am not doing that because I’m disabled. He only shut up when I said I’ve got a direct line with Stockport homes and rang up the housing support officer who then heard me out and spoke to him. Actions speak louder than words and to be laughed at when calling said company about what happened is vile. “Never had a complaint in 20 years” well let me be the first because he is a sad man that seethes darkness before even stepping inside this house. “I’m not from Stockport homes! I am a private contractor” with such a stuck up entitled attitude. Okay good for you that you are private but doesn’t give you the opportunity to treat third party customers like this. I personally won’t be here for when he returns to fit the job thankfully. Maybe in the future you should get more details from the people you are being contracted by before taking on a job because the council would have told you the situation regarding it all. You took on a job for a property that deals with severe disabilities and illnesses, future advice ask about the tenants and the property itself before just taking a job on that clearly had no information on.

I wanted to replace my porch door hinges as they’d perished. Despite the hinges being obsolete, Colin searched high and low for compatible hinges that would cover existing holes. The porch doors look brand new. I’m absolutely thrilled with them and Colin’s expert craftsmanship and professionalism. Andrea kept me informed every step of the way regarding expected delivery, cost and fitting. I’d definitely use Denton Glazing again and would recommend them to anyone.

The customer service I received from Andrea was extremely responsive and supportive especially around being flexible when arranging the job. Windows replaced in the house and conservatory were fitted cost effectively, professionally and efficiently. Everywhere was left clean and tidy. A hinge that needed replacing was complex but nothing was any trouble and the fitter worked beyond the boundaries of his role to do a good job. The office lady was also friendly, approachable and lovely when making arrangements with her for the fitting. Thank you so much!

I have used Denton Glazing services previously for replacement double glazed units. I was very pleased with the service provided by Colin and Andrea. A very pleasant experience which is hard to find these days I have just used them again with a very awkward job on a PVC door. The job was carried out without any problems at all, again I was very pleased with the service and communication which is excellent.
